CAMBA's 2023 Ramadan Iftar Dinner
Ramadan Mubarak! On behalf of the Capital Area Muslim Bar Association (CAMBA) board, we wish you and your families a blessed and generous Ramadan!
CAMBA is happy to announce our Annual Iftar Dinner on Monday, April 17, 2023. We hope you will join us as we break fast together and enjoy a special evening of good food and fellowship.
Each year, CAMBA honors an attorney for outstanding leadership and meritorious service. We are pleased to announce that long time CAMBA member Brenda Abdelall is the recipient of this year's annual CAMBA Impact Award. Brenda’s outstanding leadership and service includes her current role as the Assistant Secretary of Partnership and Engagement at DHS and her former roles as Chief of Staff for the DHS Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, President of Bridge Strategies, LLP, Director at Muslim Advocates, committee member on the Virginia State Advisory Committee U.S. Commission on Human Rights and as Fellow at ACLU. We will present the award during the program, which will take place before the Iftar dinner.
