CAMBA President, Lukman Azeez will present a workshop focused on effective techniques good advocates use to set the theme (i.e., the “who, what, when, where, why, and how”) of their briefs. Prior to the workshop, participants will be provided with a PowerPoint so that they can follow the presentation.
Lukman is an appellate and trial litigator at Wiley Rein LLP. He is a graduate of Yale Law School, Yale School of Management, and the University of Michigan. Lukman was a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Evan J. Wallach of the United States Court of Appeals. He has been the principal drafter of multiple appellate briefs in several federal courts of appeal and at both the certiorari and merits stages at the United States Supreme Court.
