The month of Ramadan is known for its generosity, and in the spirit of this special month, the Capital Area Muslim Bar Association (CAMBA) is proud to host its annual Ramadan Day of Service! Join us as we prepare the evening meal at DC Central Kitchen and transform 3,000 pounds of donated food into 5,000 balanced meals. (DC Central Kitchen will then distribute these meals to 80 nearby homeless shelters, transitional homes, and nonprofit organizations.)
Please RSVP by May 20, 2019, to confirm your spot. Individuals who register, must attend the service event. Space is limited and will be on a first come first serve basis.
Where: DC Central Kitchen, 425 Second Ave NW, Washington, D.C., 20001
When: May 22, 2019, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm (volunteers must show up no later than 4:45pm; late arrivals will not be permitted).
