Take the next step in your pro bono commitment by joining other CAMBA attorneys at the District of Columbia Bar Pro Bono Program’s Advice and Referral Clinic. Volunteer CAMBA attorneys will provide clients with legal advice and brief services in a variety of civil matters. This program is a great opportunity for CAMBA attorneys to use their legal skills to provide legal services to D.C. residents who may not otherwise have access to legal help. Volunteering at the clinic is more important than ever. During Fiscal Year 2017, the clinic served 1,513 clients, which is the most clients served in history by the clinic.

No experience is necessary to participate in the clinic. Pro Bono Program staff and expert mentors are available on-site to help assist volunteer attorneys. 

Volunteer attorneys must be barred in D.C. or have a D.C. bar application pending to participate in the clinic. Federal government attorneys or in-house counsel may be barred in any U.S. jurisdiction to participate.
